I’m honored that Joe and Pamella Craven have invited me once again to be one of the instructors at the JAMboree Music Camp! I’ll be teaching Banjo, Open-Tuned Guitar and Dobro, and Music Theory, plus a session celebrating the great comedic songwriter, Tom Lehrer.

The dates are September 28th-October 1st, 2025, at the beautiful Ruhstaller Farm in Dixon, CA.
RiverTunes JAMboree Fall 2025 is 4-day Music JAM campout at Northern California’s premiere “Beer Farm” just outside of the town of Dixon. Ruhstaller is a working farm that grows their own hops, then brews, and pours a wide variety of beers…all on their 47-acre spread. Free-range sheep, chickens, live roots, folk & world music, and dogs with their well-behaved humans, are all welcome!"

29th Annual Big Sur Jade Festival
“In 1989, members of the south coast community formed the Gorda Steering Committee in an attempt to acquire property for a community center. The first Big Sur Jade Festival was held in 1990 at Gorda. It began with a handful of vendors and local drumming. In 1991, the South Coast Community Land Trust was formed as a non-profit corporation dedicated to the “preservation and continuance of the South Coast community and culture.”
